Chevalier made its way into the CNC machine tool industry by first manufacturing surface grinders back in 1978. At that time the company was operating under the parent name Falcon Machine Tools. Falcon Machine Tools is a Taiwanese machine tool builder operating worldwide. It wasn't until 1982 when Falcon decided to open branches in California, United States, calling the brand Chevalier. Chevalier machinery are utilized in many sectors of the market including aerospace, automobile, gas and oil, medical, semiconductor and telecommunications industries. All of their machines and components are built in house providing each machinist with outstanding quality, durability, and performance. They specifically design each machine so that it is easy to operate, maintain and run resulting in faster job cycles and operator performance. Today Chevallier has a very vast line of CNC machine tool products building slant and flat bed lathes, five face bridge mills, multiple axis turning lathes, cylindrical grinders, VTL’s, boring mills, vertical grinders, CNC profile and surface grinders and vertical machining centers.
