Chiron Started their manufacturing journey by establishing in 1921 and creating surgical instruments for the medical industries. As they grew so did their products while in 1943 producing jet engines. In 1943 they attempted manufacturing automobiles but changed to producing high pressure compressors. 1972 was a turning point for Chiron as this is when they started to develop and innovate (what they are known for today) machining centers and in 1981 introducing their legendary FZ16 movable column machine tool line. Finally in 1993 they started their global dominance by establishing in the United States. Their machines can cut a variety of materials among them titanium, aluminum, steel, stainless steel, cobalt, chromium, gold, magnesium, Inconel, plastics and graphite.
