About Supertec Grinders

Founded in 1954 Supertec Machinery based in Taiwan was originally a manufacturer for the automotive, bicycle and motorcycle industries. It wasn't until 1966 that they turned their production to the research and development of machine tools. In 1989 they dedicated themselves to the grinding machine tool market by merging with the Italian grinding company Grisetti. As this company grew they have dedicated their production lines of manufacturing to specializing in centerless, cylindrical, CNC, and surface grinding machine tools. Built with Fanuc controls these grinders are available in many capacities between center lengths, center heights, and an option of straight wheelhead or angular slide wheelhead. The heavily ribbed box bases are made of Meehanite casting, to provide superb rigidity to ensure machine stability with table support to increase X-axis positioning accuracy and repeatability. The workhead is electronically controlled either live or dead and swivels 90 degrees counterclockwise to 30 degrees clockwise for required grinding functionality. These wheel spindles are constructed with hydrostatic and hydrodynamic bearings ensuring high vibration damping. Supertec has 50 years of research, engineering and manufacturing experience in cylindrical and surface grinding. By implementing Supertecs standards of principle of "Everlasting, Innovation, Continuous growth and Excellence" they demonstrate why they are world leaders in CNC Grinding technology.
